Now it's time for something completely new for our merc with a mouth. He's taking on his first "pro-bono job". Things don't go well and he winds up on the cutting room floor of a mad scientist. This mad scientist is actually the villain known as Deathtrap. He manages to get a hand free and grabs for his gun. Unfortunately, his gun and sword was sabotaged by Blind Al for Deuce the Devil's dog's schenanigans. This makes things more difficult they fight hand to hand and Deadpool is knocked out. He wakes up with a dislocated arm and a note attached to his chest that reads "this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. -D".
